Two Paws Up: Rilakkuma Kyaraben / Bento

Two Paws Up: Rilakkuma Bento

I was packing the last of my korokke (Japanese croquette, of which we made a huge batch) into my Monday bento, when I thought it looks too much like Rilakkuma, a Japanese cartoon bear whose name literally means Relaxing/Relaxed Bear.

Other components include: inarizushi (tofu pocket sushi) for arms, closed cup mushroom halves as ears, nori eyes and muzzle, omelette cut outs for details, mixed mushroom omurice (fried rice with omelette), Portobello mushroom halves, cherry tomatoes, carrot stars, and lettuce.

I think I’m going to be sad when I eat this tomorrow.

Happy Sunday everyone! xx
