Wednesday Lunch Bento: Trio of Onigiri


Very quick bento that took 15 minutes to assemble. Three onigiri (rice balls) filled with spicy tuna on a bed of mixed vegetables – one decorated with nori moustache and two coated with flaxseeds / linseeds, poppy seeds, sunflower kernels, and spring onions. Spicy tuna is made by mixing canned tuna chunks with chopped garlic, sambal oelek, chopped coriander, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Blanched mixed veg for colour.
